Extending warm wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi called it “a day of joy” and recalled the Prime Minister’s visit to the state on the same occasion last year.
“On his birthday last year, PM Modi came to Odisha and spent his birthday eating kheer prepared by an Adivasi woman. It was a moment of pride for all of us,” CM Majhi said.
The Chief Minister also said that a number of programs have been organised across Odisha to mark the occasion. “We have conducted a statewide cleanliness drive and other initiatives to celebrate this special day,” he added.
