The fatal crash occurred near Ladkapalli Square under Purushottampur police limits when a bus collided with an auto‑rickshaw, killing six passengers and injuring several others. The incident triggered widespread grief across the region.

Majhi said the government stands with the affected families during this difficult time. He assured that all necessary support would reach them without delay.
