The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Taekwondo contingent delivered a stellar performance at the 5th Indian Taekwondo Kyorugi National Championship 2026‑27, held at Mahalunge, Pune, from August 16–21, clinching five medals — two Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze.
A ten‑member CISF team, comprising four women and six men, represented the force after intensive training at its concentration centre in Mahipalpur.
🏅 Gold Medalists:
- Kanishka (Under‑46 kg) — continued her rise through the national circuit since joining CISF earlier this year.
- Saina Khan (Under‑62 kg) — capped a strong international season, adding to her medal haul from the Vietnam Open and Asian Taekwondo Indonesian Open.
🥈 Silver Medalist:
- Riya (Under‑67 kg) — showcased consistency and skill to secure the runner‑up position.
🥉 Bronze Medalists:
- Ritik (Under‑80 kg) and Pankaj (Over‑87 kg) — rounded off CISF’s impressive tally.
