The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) celebrated its 43rd Foundation Day with a grand ceremony at its headquarters.
School & Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond highlighted the role of education as the foundation of a “Samruddh Bharat,” emphasizing its importance in shaping a healthy society and developing individual character. He congratulated the CHSE team for its 43 years of contribution to students’ academic growth.
As part of the celebrations, the annual souvenir Pragyan and the NSS annual report were released. Sportspersons who excelled at the SGFI National Sports Competition were felicitated.
The event also featured a stage play titled Gurudakshina, performed by CHSE staff. Additional Secretary Subhashree Nanda and Srikant Tarai from the Board of Secondary Education were present as guests of honour. CHSE Chairman Mrunal Kanti Das delivered the welcome address, and Secretary Subhrabala Behera anchored the programme.
The ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, intellectuals, and council staff.
