According to available information, a festival was underway in Jamalpur village the previous evening. However, due to rain, most attendees had dispersed and returned home. The explosions occurred between 2:30 am and 3:00 am, when the area was relatively deserted.
Of the three bombs, one is still believed to be live at the scene. A bomb disposal squad has been summoned to safely defuse it. Pipili police have reached the spot and have initiated an investigation.
Preliminary sources suggest that two brothers from the village may be linked to the incident. However, the exact motive behind the bombing remains unclear. Further clarity is expected after a thorough investigation, according to the Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) of Pipili Police Station.
