Bolangir Town Police arrested three youths involved in a bike theft case and successfully recovered the stolen motorcycle.

On the evening of April 27, a Hero Honda bike was stolen from outside Jagannath Temple in Jagannathpada, Bolangir. The bike owner, Chaturbhuj Rout, lodged a complaint on May 5, prompting police to register a case and launch an investigation.

Acting swiftly, Bolangir Town Police traced the culprits and apprehended them. The arrested individuals have been identified as Jiten Sahanie alias Jitendra (23), Ajaydeb Das alias Musika (21), and Satya Das (21), all residents of Kumhari village under Saintala police limits. Police recovered the stolen bike and confirmed their involvement in the theft.

Town Police IIC Avani Kumar Sahu stated that further investigation is underway. The arrested youths will be taken on remand to trace other stolen motorcycles and uncover possible links to additional theft cases.
