The BCCI Naman Awards 2026 will be held in New Delhi on March 15, with several stalwarts of Indian cricket set to be honoured.
India’s ODI and Test captain Shubman Gill will receive the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men) for the second time, while Smriti Mandhana will be awarded in the women’s category for the fifth time in her career.
Former India cricketers Roger Binny and Rahul Dravid will be bestowed with the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honour conferred by the BCCI. Former India women’s skipper Mithali Raj will receive the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award for Women, recognising her exceptional contributions to women’s cricket.
The ceremony will also feature the felicitation of all five ICC trophy-winning Indian teams, making the event a landmark celebration of India’s cricketing legacy.
Domestic performers will also be recognised. Ayush Mhatre will receive the Lala Amarnath Award for Best All-Rounder in Domestic Limited Overs Competitions, while Harsh Dubey of Vidarbha will be honoured as the Best All-Rounder in the Ranji Trophy. The Mumbai Cricket Association, which secured four trophies and finished runner-up in two competitions during the season, will be awarded for best performance in domestic tournaments.
The Naman Awards highlight both international excellence and domestic achievements, reinforcing the BCCI’s commitment to celebrating cricket across all levels.
