Authorities announced detailed parking zones and traffic restrictions for the India versus South Africa T20 match at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, on December 9.
Parking Zones
- Upper Baliyatra Ground: Entry through Ring Road; VIP vehicles.
- Lower Baliyatra Ground: Entry through Ring Road; general spectators.
- Cricket Academy Ground: Entry via YMCA Road or Lion’s Eye Hospital; OCA members and dignitaries.
- Triangular Space in Front of Horse Gate: Entry through Killa Fort Road; TV crew and pass holders.
- OCA Club: Entry via Madhusudan Statue or Kalu Canteen; only pass-holding vehicles.
- Xavier’s School Parking: Entry through Gate No. 14; VIPs and dignitaries.
Traffic Restrictions
- Restrictions today: 12 PM to 9 PM.
- Restrictions on December 9: 8 AM until the match ends/crowd disperses.
- Vehicles from Mata Matha: Park at Lower Baliyatra Ground; passholders turn left at Bamboo Depot to Upper Baliyatra Ground.
- Vehicles from Howrah Motor Chhak and Mani Sahoo Chhak: Cannot move towards Madhusudan Statue from Grinnar Hotel Chhak; must use Mahanadi Ring Road via Old Law Hostel-gada to Lower Baliyatra Ground.
- Vehicles from Biju Patnaik Chhak or Chandi Chhak: Must proceed via Cantonment PS Chhak to Lower Baliyatra Ground; no entry to stadium except passholders.
- Vehicles from Ananda Bhawan Chhak: Must use Cantonment PS Chhak; no entry via Killa Fort.
- Traffic towards Madhusudan Statue via Hanuman Mandir Chhak from Samaj Office Chhak: Restricted except for passholders.
- OCA Ground passholders: Must use YMCA Crossing or Lions Eye Hospital to park at Cricket Academy Ground.
- Vehicles from Reserve Police Line: Cannot enter Barabati Stadium through OPA Chhak.
Heavy Vehicle Restrictions
- Heavy vehicles are prohibited on the Mahanadi and Kathajodi Ring Roads and inside city limits from 8 AM to 2 AM.
- Heavy vehicle movement is restricted on the Mahanadi Ring Road between Chahata Chhak and Sikharpur Chhak towards the Bamboo Depot from 12 PM to 10 PM.
