In a significant development for western Odisha, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit the state on July 4, promising a major push for industrial growth and political momentum ahead of key events.
According to Baragada Member of Parliament Pradeep Purohit, Shah will land at Jharsuguda Airport and proceed directly to Baragada to inaugurate a new ethanol production project.
The initiative is expected to boost local agriculture, create jobs, and support India’s renewable energy goals by converting surplus crops into biofuel.
Later that day, the senior BJP leader will travel to Sambalpur, where he will spend the night before addressing a massive public meeting on July 5.
The visit comes at a time when the ruling party is focusing on strengthening its grassroots presence in the region.
Purohit shared the details on social media, posting a photo with Amit Shah from a previous meeting and expressing excitement about the upcoming visit.
