Moroccan winger Noah Sadaoui has left Kerala Blasters on loan for the remainder of the 2025–26 season, adding to the growing list of overseas players exiting the Indian Super League (ISL).
His departure comes just days after club captain Adrian Luna also moved out on loan, deepening concerns about the league’s stability.
Sadaoui, who joined Kerala Blasters from FC Goa in 2024, played 19 matches across all competitions and scored seven goals. The Blasters expressed gratitude to the player, acknowledging his contribution over two seasons.
The exit of Sadaoui follows FC Goa captain Borja Herrera’s decision to leave last week, citing untenable conditions within Indian football. Bengaluru FC also parted ways with striker Edgar Mendez and manager Gerard Zaragoza during the ongoing delay in the season. Meanwhile, Odisha FC split with manager Sergio Lobera, further highlighting the uncertainty surrounding the ISL.
Chennaiyin FC Without Overseas Players
Chennaiyin FC competed in the AIFF Super Cup 2025 without any overseas players, despite having Daniel Chima Chukwu and Elsinho on its roster. The absence of foreign talent underscores the challenges faced by clubs amid the current situation.
