Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to witness heavy rainfall today, informed the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) regional centre.
According to the IMD’s latets bulletin, a low pressure area has formed over Bay of Bengal and under this influence, many districts of the State re likely to experience heavy rainfall today.
The weather agency here has also issued Orange and Yellow warnings for the districts.
While heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Angul, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sundargarh and Jharsuguda, similarly, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj, the Meteorological Centre said.
