Passengers faced major inconvenience on Friday when Air India Express cancelled its Bhubaneswar-Pune flight after repeated delays.
The flight initially faced a delay, forcing passengers to wait inside the aircraft. After some time, the airline staff asked passengers to deboard. Later, they were again boarded and kept waiting, but the flight failed to take off. Eventually, the airline cancelled the service, leaving passengers frustrated.
Several passengers said the repeated boarding and deboarding caused distress, especially for those travelling with families. Many reported that important schedules and commitments were disrupted due to the cancellation.
Air India Express has not issued any official clarification regarding the cancellation. Passengers demanded proper arrangements, including refunds or alternative flights. They criticised the airline for poor communication and a lack of transparency.
