Following spells of intense weather, the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has released its latest midday bulletin, indicating that light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are likely to continue in parts of Odisha over the next 24 hours.
An active trough line running from Bihar across Jharkhand and Odisha to the west-central Bay of Bengal is driving the current weather pattern, bringing scattered rainfall and gentle to moderate winds across the state.
