The disappearance of a 45-year-old man who went missing while fishing in the Minajhola River ended in sorrow as search teams recovered his body near Deli Dam under Chandrapur police limits in Rayagada district.
The deceased has been identified as Tisuru Bieska (45), a resident of Bakaguda village in Hanumantapur panchayat.
According to reports, Tisuru rode his motorcycle to the Minajhola river around 7:00 AM on Sunday to fish. When he did not return home by evening, his family and villagers began searching the riverbanks and found his clothes lying on the shore.
After receiving the information, Chandrapur Police and Odisha Fire Services teams reached the spot and began a joint search. They later recovered his body downstream near the Deli Dam. Police have kept the body for further formalities and investigation.
