Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited the Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) facility at Jebel Ali to witness advanced aluminium production technology and study global best practices.
During the visit, the Chief Minister emphasised the importance of the NALCO–EGA technology licence partnership, which combines EGA’s expertise with NALCO’s strong aluminium manufacturing base in Odisha. The collaboration is expected to support modernisation, capacity expansion, low‑carbon production, and higher‑value aluminium products.
The discussions also explored opportunities for EGA’s participation in Odisha’s growing downstream aluminium ecosystem, particularly the Angul Aluminium Park, which is emerging as a hub for value‑added products and industrial growth.
CM Majhi underscored Odisha’s vision of leveraging global partnerships to strengthen its aluminium sector, enhance sustainability, and create new opportunities for entrepreneurs and industries across the state.
