Ultraviolette Automotive has officially touched down in Odisha, marking a major milestone in India’s performance-driven electric mobility sector. The electric vehicle innovator has announced the launch of its highly anticipated UV Space Station in Bhubaneswar, signaling a robust retail expansion into Eastern India’s emerging mobility markets.
Launched in partnership with dealer M/s. Jyote Motors (Energy) Private Limited, the newly established UV Space Station is designed as a fully immersive brand destination. Enthusiasts and prospective buyers can now access end-to-end customer lifecycle services under one roof—from personalized test rides and sales consultations to genuine spares and exclusive motorcycle accessories.
Redefining Electric Performance
The Bhubaneswar experience centre proudly showcases Ultraviolette’s flagship models: the newly launched X-47 Crossover and the F77s. Engineered to push boundaries, these motorcycles boast a formidable powertrain that delivers 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque. This allows riders to launch from 0 to 60 km/h in a blistering 2.8 seconds. Supported by a 10.3 kWh battery pack, the bikes ensure range anxiety is a thing of the past, offering an IDC-certified range of up to 323 km on a single charge.
The spotlight in the new showroom heavily features the X-47 Crossover—the world’s first electric motorcycle in its segment to include standard radar technology. Outfitted with UV Radar Intelligence and the UV HyperSense Advanced Rider Assistance System (ADAS), the X-47 utilizes a 77 GHz rear radar. This aerospace-grade integration supports critical safety features, including blind-spot detection, lane-change assist, overtake alerts, and rear-collision warnings. Built for versatility across all terrains, the X-47 also features a 5-inch TFT display, three ride modes, long-travel suspension, an integrated dashcam, radial all-terrain tyres, and the world’s most power-dense air-cooled onboard charger.
Accessible Ownership with Battery Flex
To further democratize high-performance electric mobility, the Bhubaneswar Space Station will offer Ultraviolette’s newly introduced Battery Flex (BaaS) platform. This flexible battery-as-a-service model actively separates the vehicle cost from battery ownership, drastically lowering the entry barrier. Under this program, riders in Odisha can drive home the revolutionary X-47 Crossover at a starting price of just ₹1,49,000/-, paired with a monthly battery subscription beginning at ₹2,323/-.
Leadership Perspective
“Bhubaneswar believed in Ultraviolette long before we even arrived,” said Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder of Ultraviolette. “For years, enthusiasts here have followed our journey and waited to experience what we’re building. That kind of connection is rare and deeply meaningful to us. We started Ultraviolette with a simple belief: India can build world-class mobility technology for the world. Opening the UV Space Station in Bhubaneswar is another step in bringing that technology closer to the people who believed in us. We’re here to build, to push boundaries, and to redefine what electric mobility can be—not just for Odisha, but for India and the world.”
