British singer-songwriter Rita Ora will headline the closing ceremony of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 final at Lord’s on Sunday, July 5.
The performance will begin at 2:30 PM local time, just before the final match, bringing global music to one of cricket’s most iconic venues.
The ICC confirmed the announcement on social media, describing the event as an unforgettable finish to the tournament. Rita Ora’s performance will set the stage for the final, while multi-platinum electronic pop band Clean Bandit will perform after the winners are crowned, continuing the celebrations.
Australia has already secured a place in the final, aiming for a seventh title. Hosts England face South Africa in the second semifinal at The Oval on July 2 to decide the other finalist. Fans anticipate a thrilling contest on the pitch, paired with world-class entertainment off it.
The closing ceremony follows the opening celebration on June 12, which featured a performance by the cast of the musical Wicked. Organisers emphasised that the finale will showcase the fusion of music, culture, and cricket, making it the biggest Women’s T20 World Cup final to date.
Spectators at Lord’s can expect a day of excitement, with gates opening at 1 PM. The combination of elite cricket and international music acts highlights the growing global appeal of the Women’s T20 World Cup.
