The United States Department of the Treasury has removed four Indian companies from its Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List, marking a significant development in its latest sanctions update.

The decision was announced by the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), which said the companies had been delisted as part of a broader revision to the sanctions register.

Which Indian companies were removed from the sanctions list?

The four Indian entities removed from the SDN List are:

  • RRG Engineering Technologies Private Limited (Hyderabad)
  • Lokesh Machines Limited (Hyderabad)
  • Galaxy Bearings Ltd (Ahmedabad)
  • Shaurya Aeronautics Private Limited (New Delhi)

The companies had previously been sanctioned under Executive Order 14024, a US measure aimed at addressing activities linked to Russia.

OFAC announces broader sanctions update

The delisting was part of OFAC’s latest update to the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List.

Alongside the removal of the four Indian companies, the US also imposed fresh sanctions on several individuals and entities allegedly linked to drug trafficking networks operating in Mexico.

The update reflects OFAC’s routine review of sanctions and enforcement measures.

Treasury releases quarterly sanctions report

In addition to updating the sanctions list, OFAC released its quarterly report on licensing activities conducted under the Trade Sanctions Reform and Export Enhancement Act (TSRA).

The report covers the period from January to March 2026 and outlines licensing actions related to US sanctions regulations.

What the delisting means

Being removed from the SDN List means the four Indian companies are no longer subject to the US sanctions imposed under Executive Order 14024.

However, the US Treasury did not provide additional details explaining the specific reasons for removing the companies from the sanctions list.

Further clarification may emerge if OFAC or the affected companies issue detailed statements.
