BJP State President Manmohan Samal announced on Tuesday that the Odisha government will complete all pending recruitments in Corporations and Boards before June 12, marking two years of the BJP government in office.
Samal told reporters that appointments in vacant posts across Corporations and Boards will be finalised within the deadline. He said the party is committed to ensuring that all pending recruitments are completed before the government’s second anniversary.
He informed that the process of appointing lawyers has already been completed in 29 districts, with Khordha district appointments to follow soon. On cabinet expansion, Samal said the decision will be taken after consultations with central leadership.
Highlighting achievements, Samal claimed that the BJP government has fulfilled nearly 80 per cent of its election manifesto promises. He assured that the remaining commitments will be delivered before the two-year milestone.
Samal also referred to the recently held elections in Assam and West Bengal, noting that the Odisha BJP was given responsibility for 36 Assembly constituencies. He said a large number of party workers from Odisha were deployed in both states, reflecting the party’s growing organisational strength.
The announcement signals the BJP’s intent to consolidate governance and demonstrate accountability as the government approaches its two-year mark.
