A remarkable spiritual event marked Hanuman Jayanti 2026 in Odisha, where a one-of-a-kind idol of Lord Hanuman was installed using one crore Rudraksha beads.

The event took place at Gurukrupa Ashram in the Banibihar locality of Aska, drawing thousands of devotees from across the state and beyond.

Idol Crafted with Devotion and Symbolism

The highlight of the celebration was the grand unveiling of the Hanuman idol, entirely crafted from sacred Rudraksha beads. The installation symbolised deep devotion, spiritual energy, and the collective faith of followers.

The ceremony was led by Sadguru Shri Atmaraj Maharaj, who also unveiled an extraordinary spiritual achievement—nearly 980 crore inscriptions of ‘Ram Naam’ created by devotees.

Mass Participation in Sacred Rituals

Devotees actively participated in multiple rituals that reflected unity and devotion. Thousands wrote the sacred name of Lord Rama on one lakh Bel leaves using Tulasi sticks dipped in saffron Sindoor. These offerings were then dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

The event also witnessed the collective chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa 108 times, creating a powerful spiritual atmosphere filled with faith and positivity.

‘Ram Naam’ Bricks for Future Temple

A unique aspect of the celebration was the collection of handwritten ‘Ram Naam’ inscriptions from devotees across regions and languages. These sacred writings were compiled, worshipped, and shaped into symbolic “Naam bricks.”

These bricks are intended for the construction of a proposed Naam Mandir, reflecting a long-term vision of spiritual unity and devotion.

Massive Devotee Turnout in Ganjam

The event attracted a large gathering of devotees, transforming the ashram into a centre of spiritual energy. Participants described the experience as deeply moving and beyond words.

According to the ashram’s chief priest Pranab Rath, the collective effort of devotees in writing and offering ‘Ram Naam’ created a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual experience.

A Celebration of Faith and Unity

This unique Hanuman Jayanti celebration not only highlighted religious devotion but also showcased cultural unity and collective spirituality. The event stands as a powerful example of how shared faith can bring communities together.
