Batting first, RCB posted a commanding 250/3 in 20 overs, powered by aggressive stroke play across the order. In reply, CSK faltered despite Sarfaraz Khan’s explosive fifty off just 24 balls. Wickets fell at regular intervals, with Jacob Duffy and Bhuvneshwar Kumar striking crucial blows.
Abhinandan Singh sealed the victory by dismissing Matt Henry in the 20th over, ending CSK’s innings at 207 all out in 19.4 overs.
With this win, RCB climbed to the top of the points table, marking their fourth consecutive victory in the tournament.
