International flight services from Bhubaneswar to Singapore have been suspended. Airport Director Prasanna Pradhan confirmed the development, adding that several other routes have also been affected.
Flights to Dubai had already been cancelled earlier due to the prevailing war situation. Domestic services to Indore, Dehradun, and Kochi have also been stopped. Officials said some airlines suspended operations during the off-season, citing low passenger demand.
The Odisha government is planning new routes to expand connectivity and compensate for the suspended services. Discussions are underway to introduce flights to additional destinations in the coming months.
