Several State Bank of India (SBI) ATMs in Cuttack have been non-functional for weeks, leading to a significant cash crunch and creating inconveniences for many residents.

This prolonged disruption is causing severe hardship, especially for senior citizens and hospital visitors who rely on these ATMs for their cash needs.

Many ATMs in various parts of the city have been found with notices stating their unavailability, but without any official explanation for their sudden closure. Frustrated customers are demanding immediate resolution and better communication from SBI regarding this issue.

As a result, customers are forced to visit bank branches or seek alternative ATMs to withdraw their money, further exacerbating the inconvenience. The lack of official clarification from SBI has only fueled customers’ discontent, leading to growing calls for the bank to address the problem and restore normal services promptly.

Authorities have yet to issue a statement regarding the cause of the shutdown and the expected timeline for resuming normal services. The situation remains unresolved, leaving residents to struggle with the ongoing cash crunch.
