Commissionerate Police Issues Traffic Restrictions in Bhubaneswar for President’s Visit

President Droupadi Murmu’s six-day Odisha tour has prompted the Commissionerate Police to enforce strict traffic restrictions in Bhubaneswar.

Traffic Restrictions

Authorities announced specific timings when public vehicles cannot move along designated routes:

Feb 2: From 6:20 PM to 6:55 PM, traffic will remain restricted between Airport Square and Lok Bhavan Square.
Feb 3: From 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM, restrictions apply from Lok Bhavan to Airport Square.
Feb 6: From 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, Airport Square to Lok Bhavan Square; from 3:55 PM to 4:25 PM, Lok Bhavan Square to XIMB Square; and from 5:15 PM to 5:50 PM, XIMB Square to Lok Bhavan Square.
Feb 7: From 8:50 AM to 9:20 AM, restrictions apply from Lok Bhavan Square to Airport Square.

President’s Odisha Tour

The President will spend six days in Odisha, covering five districts—Puri, Khordha, Balasore, Jajpur, and Mayurbhanj. She arrives in Bhubaneswar on February 2 at 6:30 PM and will stay overnight at Lok Bhavan.

Security Measures

Commissionerate Police tightened security across Bhubaneswar, ensuring the smooth movement of the President’s convoy. Traffic restrictions aim to secure the routes while minimising inconvenience to the public.
