Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik, extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day on Sunday.
In a message shared on social media, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi conveyed his wishes and called for renewed collective commitment towards national development.
“Greetings to all on the occasion of Republic Day. May this occasion add renewed energy and enthusiasm to our collective resolve to build a Viksit Bharat,” the Chief Minister posted.
Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo paid tribute to the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and martyrs who safeguarded the nation’s unity and security.
“Best wishes on Republic Day. I salute all those who sacrificed their lives for the unity and security of the nation,” he said.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida underlined the importance of democracy and the Constitution, urging citizens to remember their responsibilities along with their rights.
She noted that Republic Day is a moment of pride for India’s democratic framework and a reminder of the duties enshrined in the Constitution.
Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik highlighted the core values of democracy, stressing peace, brotherhood, and goodwill as its foundational pillars.
“Heartfelt greetings and congratulations on Republic Day. Peace, brotherhood, and goodwill are the foundational pillars of our democracy. Let us all move forward together, keeping it intact, towards making the state and the country the best,” Patnaik wrote in a post on X.
