President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, accepted credentials from the envoys of Trinidad & Tobago, Austria, and the United States of America at a formal ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan today, January 14, 2026.
The dignitaries who presented their credentials included:
- H.E. Mr Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago
- H.E. Dr Robert Zischg, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria
- H.E. Mr Sergio Gor, Ambassador of the United States of America
The ceremony reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties with partner nations. By accepting the credentials, President Murmu welcomed the envoys and expressed India’s readiness to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade, culture, and strategic partnerships.
