The Odisha Vigilance on Monday, December 30, 2025, launched simultaneous searches at four locations connected to Sri Jitendra Kumar Panda, Additional Tahasildar of Baranga Tahasil in Cuttack district, in connection with allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income.
The searches are being carried out on the strength of warrants issued by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
Search Operation Details
The vigilance operation is being led by a team comprising four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), seven Inspectors, one Sub-Inspector (SI), eight Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), along with other supporting staff.
Locations Under Search
The vigilance teams are conducting searches at the following premises:

A triple-storeyed residential building over Plot No. 3293, Sub-plot C, Khata No. 1494/1253, located at Gopaluni Nagar, Badagada, Bhubaneswar-35.

Another triple-storeyed building situated at LB-187, Badagada Brit Colony, Bhubaneswar.

A double-storeyed building over Plot No. 326/1151/1357, Khata No. 277/444, located at Sanapalla, Khordha district.

The official chamber of Sri Jitendra Kumar Panda at the Office of the Tahasildar, Baranga, Cuttack.
Ongoing Investigation
Officials said the searches are still in progress, and a detailed assessment of documents, movable, and immovable assets is underway. Further details are expected once the operation is completed.
