The Parliament attack of 2001 remains one of the darkest chapters in India’s democratic history. Armed terrorists stormed the complex, but the alertness and bravery of security personnel prevented a larger tragedy. Their sacrifice ensured the safety of lawmakers and safeguarded the sanctity of the nation’s highest democratic institution.

Every year, December 13 serves as a solemn reminder of the courage displayed by those who defended Parliament. The tributes reaffirm the country’s collective gratitude and highlight the enduring inspiration drawn from their supreme sacrifice.
