In an impressive display of skill and determination, Stefanos Tsitsipas secured his first ATP 500 title at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

The 26-year-old Greek star defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, marking his 12th tour-level trophy and cementing his return to the Top 10 of the PIF ATP Rankings.

Tsitsipas, who had previously lost two finals in Dubai, showcased his resilience by dominating the match from the baseline. Saving all seven break points he faced, Tsitsipas took control of the game and won four consecutive games from 2-3 in the first set to clinch the opener. He continued his strong performance in the second set, breaking Auger-Aliassime’s serve and securing the victory in just one hour and 28 minutes.

Felix Auger-Aliassime, who has been leading the ATP Tour in wins this season, fought hard but was ultimately unable to counter Tsitsipas’s all-court prowess. The Canadian, aiming for his third title of 2025, struggled to convert his break point opportunities and was outperformed by Tsitsipas in extended rallies.

With this win, Tsitsipas not only ends his losing streak in ATP 500 finals but also claims his biggest outdoor hard-court trophy of his career. As he celebrates this milestone, tennis fans around the world eagerly anticipate his continued success on the court.
