Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida inaugurated the “Subhadra Grievance Redressal Module” today at the Women and Child Development Department’s conference hall.

The module aims to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is excluded from the Subhadra Scheme and that all grievances are addressed transparently and efficiently.

Speaking at the launch, Deputy CM Parida emphasized that the new module will uphold transparency, accountability, and timely decision-making. She assured that any complaint regarding application rejection or denial of benefits under the Subhadra Scheme will be investigated promptly and resolved through a structured process.

Grievances submitted online via the Subhadra portal or offline through government channels will first be reviewed by Block Level or Urban Level Scrutiny Committees. If necessary, these committees will forward the complaints for field verification. Based on the findings, the committees will determine the applicant’s eligibility and escalate the report to the District Level or Municipal Corporation Level Scrutiny Committees for final approval.

Beneficiaries can track the status of their complaints directly on the Subhadra portal, ensuring real-time updates and transparency.

As of now, over 1,09,87,894 applications have been registered under the Subhadra Scheme, with more than one crore women already benefiting. Currently, 2,83,264 complaints are under review, and the newly launched module will expedite their resolution.
