Odisha: 384 Firefighters Deployed At 62 Covid Hospitals To Avert Mishaps

Bhubaneswar: In order to avert fire accidents in health care centres, the Fire Services Department of Odisha has deployed as many as 384 firemen with basic firefighting and rescue machinery across 62 Covid hospitals. A total of 384 fire personnel working in 3 shifts round the clock have been deployed at the Covid hospitals for the purpose, stated a press release shared by the Directorate of Fire Services. Reportedly, the personnel will take immediate necessary steps to extinguish the blaze and report the incident to the nearest Fire Station. In order to remain prepared for any exigencies through proper training and sensitization of authorities, mock drills are being regularly conducted at Covid hospitals and Covid Care Centres as per the
