The first look of Aryan Khan’s debut web series, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, has been unveiled, giving fans a glimpse of an action-packed satire on Hindi cinema.
The promotional video features Aryan narrating in the style of his father, Shah Rukh Khan, but with a twist: while SRK spoke of pyaar (love), Aryan emphasizes vaar (attack), highlighting the series’ mix of romance, action, and drama.
The video begins with the iconic Mohabbatein violin tune, showcasing the leads Lakshya and Sahher Bambba, before transitioning into fight sequences, glitz, and high-octane action. Aryan Khan describes the show as a homage to Bollywood, combining love and action: “You have loved Bollywood and also attacked it. I will do the same, give it a lot of love and a little attack.”
Written and directed by Aryan Khan, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-written by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, the series also stars Bobby Deol, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, and Gautami Kapoor. The Ba**ds of Bollywood* is slated to premiere on Netflix later this year, with the official release date yet to be announced.
