Rourkela: Arunima Thakur of Rourkela in Odisha the top rank (AIR-1) at the India level of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)-5 PG examination, the results of which were announced recently.
Arunima Thakur achieved the top rank with a percentile score of 99.993, becoming the highest scorer in India among over 50,000 students who appeared for the CLAT 2025 PG examination.
Bringing this significant honour to the state, however, was not an easy accomplishment, as the topper underwent rigorous and dedicated preparations for the exam.
Arunima, a shining star of the Steel City, exemplifies brilliance and determination in her academic journey. She completed her schooling at Ispat English Medium School, Sector-22, and Delhi Public School Sector-, Rourkela, consistently excelling in her studies. Arunima highest marks in Steel City for both Class X and Class, scoring an impressive .8% and 982%, respectively.
In addition to her accomplishments, Arunima’s talent as an orator has garnered her considerable recognition She was awarded the Steel City Best Orator Award every year until Class XII and received a Gold Medal in the Chancellor Debate Competition.
Currently, Arunima is in the final year of her five-year Integrated Law course at the University College of Law, Utkal University Bhubaneswar. With recent, she has brought immense pride to her family, Rourkela, and the state of Odisha. Arunima aspires to become an IAS officer and serve the nation.
