The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has announced new District Presidents for four key organisational districts across Odisha.
The appointments, made via an official order issued from Sankha Bhawan, reflect the party’s renewed focus on grassroots mobilisation and leadership decentralisation ahead of crucial political milestones.
As per the order signed by BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik, the newly appointed District Presidents are:
- Shri Bikram Panda for Ganjam
- Shri Shiva Prasad Bhol for Kendrapara
- Shri Pradip Kumar Dishari for Kalahandi
- Shri Prafulla Singh for Cuttack
These leaders are expected to steer the party’s local strategies, strengthen outreach, and ensure better coordination with the state headquarters. The reshuffle is being viewed as a strategic move to empower emerging voices and align with evolving socio-political dynamics in their respective regions.
