Odisha CM Meets PM Modi to Chart Path for Viksit Odisha

Following the Niti Aayog meeting, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a significant step toward realising the ambitious vision of “Viksit Odisha, Viksit Bharat.”


The meeting, held in New Delhi, focused on accelerating Odisha’s holistic development through strategic advancements in infrastructure, welfare initiatives, and employment generation. 

The meeting was marked by a shared commitment to transforming Odisha into a growth engine for India’s broader developmental goals. CM Majhi expressed deep gratitude for PM Modi’s unwavering support and visionary leadership. “Honoured to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today,” Majhi posted on X, emphasising the meaningful discussions that took place.

Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi also met Union Health Minister and BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda in New Delhi to discuss strategies for strengthening Odisha’s healthcare system.

During the productive discussions, CM Majhi emphasised Odisha’s unwavering commitment to achieving universal health coverage, ensuring that even the most remote areas of the state have access to quality medical services. He highlighted the need for enhanced medical infrastructure, expanded medical education, and improved healthcare access, particularly in underserved regions.

Majhi sought continued support from the central government to achieve these goals, aligning with the state’s broader vision of “Viksit Odisha, Viksit Bharat.”
