Bhubaneswar: Odisha School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Saturday said schools will reopen for Class 1 to VIII soon and the standard operating procedure (SOP) is being prepared.
The Minister said that the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has already issued guidelines in this regard. The Anganwadi Centres have already started functioning.
The SRC said it is Unlock guidelines for the month of February.
The School and Mass Education Department in a notification said the classes for Class IX and XI students of Odisha will begin from February 8. Classes for X and XII students reopened across the state on January 8 after a gap on nine months following coronavirus pandemic.
