Paradip Marine Police have busted an illicit supply chain funnelling industrial materials to foreign ships anchored off Odisha’s coast.

Acting on a tip-off, authorities conducted a midnight raid at Nehru Bungalow Fishing Harbour, seizing goods worth Rs 10 lakh and arresting three suspects.

Investigations revealed that smugglers were discreetly transporting industrial pipes and motors via fishing boats to offshore vessels, bypassing customs clearance and evading taxes.

While three individuals have been apprehended, one remains at large. Police continue their probe to uncover the full scope of the operation.
