Vincy Aloshious Shine Tom Chacko controversy

Malayalam actress Vincy Aloshious has filed a formal complaint against her co-star Shine Tom Chacko with the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce, alleging drug use on set and inappropriate behaviour.

The controversy began when Vincy, speaking at an event, mentioned her experience of working with an actor who exhibited disturbing behaviour. Initially, she refrained from revealing the actor’s identity. However, after the discussion gained traction online, she formally named Shine Tom Chacko in her complaint.

According to her statement, Chacko allegedly insisted on fixing her dress during filming, making her uncomfortable. She also described seeing a white substance spilling from his mouth, which she suspected to be drugs. This situation reportedly created a negative work environment for everyone involved in the film production.

Her remarks have sparked a broader conversation about substance abuse in the Malayalam film industry, an issue that has come under scrutiny in recent years.

Speaking out against drug use in cinema, Vincy declared that she would refuse to work with individuals who consume drugs, even if it meant losing professional opportunities.

The complaint has now been submitted to the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce, raising concerns about workplace ethics and drug abuse in the industry.
