Fans of the hit Korean zombie thriller All of Us Are Dead finally received long-awaited answers during the Netflix Korea 10th Anniversary fan festival, Netflix Janchi, held in Seoul.
The cast of Season 2 made a surprise appearance, where actor Yoon Chan-Young confirmed that his fan-favourite character, Lee Cheong-San, survived the catastrophic events of Season 1.
Cheong-San’s fate remained one of the show’s biggest cliffhangers after he was presumed dead following a military bombing designed to contain the Jonas Virus outbreak at Hyosan High School. His return puts an end to years of intense speculation among viewers.
While the surprise reunion delighted fans, Netflix did not unveil an official teaser or confirm an exact release date during the event. Filming for the second instalment commenced in July 2025, and the series remains listed as “coming soon,” with an expected premiere by early 2027.
The upcoming season will reunite core cast members Park Ji-Hu, Yoon Chan-Young, Cho Yi-Hyun, and Lomon as they navigate the aftermath of the epidemic, the evolution of half-zombies (“hambies”), and new surviving threats.
