Tamil star Dhanush and Malayalam megastar Mammootty are joining forces for an upcoming pan-Indian cinematic spectacle titled OM: Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood.
Backed by Shraddha Agrawal’s RTake Studios in collaboration with Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, the high-octane project aims to unite cross-industry powerhouses for a big-screen experience.
Helmed by acclaimed director Rajkumar Periasamy, the feature boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela, Naseeruddin Shah, and Indrans. Rising musical talent Sai Abhyankkar has been roped in to compose the soundtrack.
The film is produced by Shraddha Agrawal, Dhanush, and Azmat Jagmag, alongside co-producers Sreyas Srinivasan and Sandesh Agrawal, with Vishu Ramaswamy serving as Creative Producer.
Highlighting the project’s ambition, producer Shraddha Agrawal noted that bringing together two cinematic legends like Dhanush and Mammootty represents a major milestone for RTake Studios, designed to transcend regional boundaries and deliver emotional depth on a grand scale.
Designed specifically for an immersive theatrical presentation, OM: Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood is officially gearing up for a worldwide big-screen release on Nov 20, 2026.
