Former BIGBANG member T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun) and former After School member turned actor Nana (Im Jin-ah) have officially confirmed they are in a romantic relationship.
The news follows an exclusive report by South Korean media outlet Dispatch, which published photographs of the pair on dates and revealed they had been quietly seeing each other for several months.
According to T.O.P’s agency, the two stars first met in January, when Nana starred in the music video for his track Studio54. Working closely on the project sparked a deep friendship that gradually evolved into a romantic relationship around June.
According to sources, their shared history as prominent second-generation K-pop idols helped solidify their bond. Citing an acquaintance close to the couple, Dispatch reported that T.O.P and Nana share a deep mutual understanding built on similar career paths, industry triumphs, and years of public scrutiny.
Following the public confirmation, Nana personally reached out to her supporters via the fan messaging platform Bubble to address the sudden news.
“You must have been taken aback. Me too, and I’m a little embarrassed as well,” she wrote to her fans, offering reassurance about the relationship. “We’ll continue to see each other happily and healthily.”
Both artists have transitioned into successful solo careers in recent years. T.O.P, who rose to prominence as the lead rapper of BIGBANG, has continued to release music and pursue high-profile acting projects. Meanwhile, Nana expanded her career beyond her After School roots to build a solid reputation as an actor in acclaimed screen productions.
