The excise officials successfully seized 60 litres of illicit liquor near Hirli Dangari village in Nabarangpur district and arrested the trader.
the accused has been identified as Keshab Jani, a liquor trader.
As per reports, the excise department team, led by Inspector Dillip Kumar Rath under the directives of Nabarangpur District Excise Superintendent Pratap Kumar Das conducted a raid in that area and seized the illicit liquor.
The team apprehended liquor trader Keshab Jani during the raid and confiscated 60 litres of country-made liquor alongside a scooter with registration number OD 24 F 9699. Following the arrest, Jani was sent to court for legal proceedings by the excise department.
This operation saw active participation from officials including Reshma Suna, Akram Khan, Debendra Samarth, and other staff members, emphasizing the department’s commitment to curbing illegal liquor activities in the area.
