A backstage fire erupted in the France Pavilion of Walt Disney World’s EPCOT theme park, Florida, causing an evacuation of the popular Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride.
The fire, which started in a walk-in cooler, was promptly extinguished with no injuries reported. Normal park operations resumed shortly after the incident.
The blaze occurred during Spring Break crowds and the ongoing International Flower & Garden Festival, creating an impactful yet thankfully brief disruption.
