A 28-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping and murdering his four-year-old niece in Ganjam district.

The incident occurred on April 26, when the minor, visiting her grandfather’s home, was lured away under false pretences. According to the police, the accused, identified as Kalia Nahak, attempted to destroy evidence but was quickly apprehended based on critical clues.
