Rahul Gandhi delivered a fiery speech in Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli on Wednesday, launching a strong attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party and its ideological parent Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh while warning people about what he described as an “economic storm” approaching the country.

Addressing a large crowd in his Lok Sabha constituency, Rahul Gandhi urged citizens to defend the Constitution and accused the BJP-RSS ecosystem of weakening democratic institutions.

‘Constitution Carries Your Voice’: Rahul Gandhi

During the speech, Rahul Gandhi questioned the silence of people when the Constitution is allegedly attacked.

“You all clap now, but when RSS members tear and throw away this Constitution right in front of you, you remain silent,” Gandhi said while addressing supporters.

He further added that the Constitution represents the voice and struggles of ordinary citizens.

“This Constitution carries your voice and your blood. Protecting it is your duty and responsibility,” he told the crowd.

The remarks quickly gained traction online and triggered strong reactions across political circles.

Rahul Gandhi Warns Of ‘Economic Storm’

The Congress leader also issued a warning about India’s economic future, claiming inflation and rising prices would soon affect common people more severely.

“An economic storm is approaching,” Gandhi said during the rally.

He claimed citizens would soon witness increases in petrol, diesel and gas prices along with rising inflation.

“You will see in just a few months where inflation goes, where petrol prices go, where diesel prices go and where gas prices go,” he stated.

The Congress MP also alleged that farmers may face shortages of fertilisers in the future.

PM Modi’s Foreign Visits Mentioned In Speech

Rahul Gandhi also referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ongoing foreign tour.

Taking a swipe at the Prime Minister, Gandhi claimed Modi advises people against spending on certain things while continuing expensive international travel.

“He tells you not to travel abroad. He tells you not to buy gold. But he himself travels abroad in aircraft worth thousands of crores,” Gandhi said.

The comments came as PM Modi continues the final leg of his five-nation diplomatic tour, which includes visits to Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, the UAE and Italy.

Political Reactions Intensify Ahead Of Key Elections

Rahul Gandhi’s speech has intensified political debate ahead of upcoming electoral battles.

Supporters of the Congress praised the speech as a strong defence of democracy and constitutional values, while BJP leaders accused Gandhi of spreading fear and misinformation.

The Raebareli address also highlighted Congress’ continued strategy of targeting the BJP over inflation, unemployment and democratic concerns.

Rahul Gandhi’s Speech Trends Online

Clips from Rahul Gandhi’s speech quickly went viral on social media platforms, with users debating his remarks on the Constitution, inflation and PM Modi’s foreign visits.

Political observers say the speech signals Congress’ aggressive campaign strategy as opposition parties continue to sharpen attacks on the ruling government over economic and governance issues.
