AIIMS Bhubaneswar is set to witness a monumental visit from Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda tomorrow, as the institute continues its journey of growth and excellence in the field of healthcare and research.

Nadda’s visit is expected to bring transformative developments to the institute, further reinforcing its status as one of India’s leading medical research and healthcare hubs.

One of the highlights of the day will be the inauguration of the Central Research Laboratory, a state-of-the-art facility that is poised to redefine the scope of medical research in the region. This cutting-edge lab is designed to empower doctors, researchers, and scholars to create innovative healthcare solutions and conduct impactful scientific studies. AIIMS Bhubaneswar Executive Director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas emphasized the importance of the facility, stating that it will serve as a catalyst for scientific discovery and translational research in Odisha and beyond.

In addition, Shri Nadda will lay the foundation stone for the Multiutility (Gastronomy) Block, an infrastructural development envisioned to address the growing needs of students, faculty, employees, and the public at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The block, equipped with modern amenities, is expected to enhance operational efficiency while fostering community engagement within the institute.

To further integrate digital solutions in healthcare services, Shri Nadda will unveil the revamped AIIMS Bhubaneswar website featuring user-friendly features aimed at streamlining accessibility and service delivery. Complementing this effort, the EHS Clinic and AMRIT Pharmacy will also be inaugurated, ensuring affordable medicines and essential health services are within easy reach for the public.

The visit will culminate with a comprehensive review meeting, during which Shri Nadda will assess ongoing developments and inspect various facilities. His engagement underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and delivery across India.

Expressing gratitude for Shri Nadda’s support, Dr. Biswas remarked, “AIIMS Bhubaneswar continues to march ahead under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and dynamic guidance of Shri Nadda Ji, whose contributions have been instrumental in shaping the institute’s growth trajectory.”
