Rayagada: At least two persons including a woman were killed while two others sustained minor injuries after the tractor they were travelling in overturned at Trikalapadu under Kalyansinghpur block in the district late last night.
The identity of the deceased person is not known immediately.
Reportedly, the incident took place while the driver along with three women helpers was heading towards Baylgama. Meanwhile, the driver lost control over the wheels and the vehicle turned turtle. Due to the impact of the accident, the driver killed on the spot while three others sustained critical injuries.
While a woman died while undergoing treatment, two others were shifted to Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) as their health condition was critical.
Police have registered a case and seized the tractor for further investigation.
