Jharsuguda: Police have arrested two persons for allegedly stealing a submersible pump at Kalopatra road under Badmal police limits in Jharsuguida district.
The accused have been identified as Keshaba Dhurua and Niranjan Naik of the same village.
According to reports, the matter came to after one Mahendra pradhan lodges a complaint with the Badmal police regarding the theft.
On the basis of the complaint, police registered a case and arrested the accused. The cops also recovered the stolen submersible pump and 20 kgs of the copper coil from them.
The accused will be forwarded to court today and further investigation is underway, the police said.
