A tribal woman from Keonjhar has levelled grave allegations against an Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer, accusing him of deceit, betrayal, and abuse.
The complaint was filed with the Sadar Police in Jagatsinghpur district.
According to the complainant, the accused had been in a relationship with her since childhood. She claims that the officer secretly married her but abandoned her after clearing the Odisha Civil Service exam and securing the prestigious OAS position. The woman further alleged that the officer coerced her into terminating multiple pregnancies.
Speaking to the media, the woman stated, “We were in a relationship since we were in Class 6. After he joined the postal services, he married me but never introduced me as his wife. Our relationship deteriorated after he cleared the civil service examination. I seek justice for the betrayals I have endured.”
In response, the father of the accused has dismissed the allegations as baseless, stating, “The woman is my niece and is trying to frame my son ever since he joined the OAS.”
While the police confirm that an investigation is underway, they have yet to take any formal action. Attempts to reach the OAS officer for comment have been unsuccessful.
