New Delhi: Brownie waffles are an epic dessert or treat! Topped with creamy vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup and whatever other toppings you like!
Ingredients
- 85 g unsalted butter (¾ stick)
- 50 g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
- â…” cup granulated white sugar
- ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temp
- â…“ cup whole milk
- 98 g plain (all-purp) flour (¾ cup)
- 45 g cocoa (½ cup)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron on the medium setting.
- Place the butter and chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high in 20-second increments, stirring well between each, until just melted.
- Add both sugars, eggs and milk and whisk together until combined.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa and salt and mix until just combined.
- Spray the waffle iron with oil spray, then pour the batter in until it just hides the waffle iron squares (see notes)
- Close the waffle iron and cook for 6 minutes before gently prying away from the sides and serving.
